Yesterday, I told you about the creepy ad produced by The Center for Reproductive Rights that celebrates what some have called an absolute right to an abortion. Another film exposes where that mindset leads. It’s called 3801 Lancaster, which was the address of the abortion clinic run by Kermit Gosnell. Gosnell’s clinic went 30 years without an inspection until in 2009, a woman died.
Authorities found the place filthy with fluid stains and fetal remains. Unqualified workers called themselves doctors and performed medical procedures. Women were overmedicated and badly injured. And babies born alive were killed when Gosnell and others severed their spinal cords with scissors. At least 7 babies died this way, with some estimates much higher.
How could this happen? The “absolute right to an abortion,” meant there was more oversight of hair salons than abortion clinics. What about Gosnell? He’s pled innocent. He thinks he did nothing wrong. I’ll link to the film at thepointradio.org. I’m John Stonestreet.
