Yesterday, I mentioned Russell Moore’s warning about pro-lifers prematurely celebrating a win in the battle over abortion, despite TIME magazine’s cover article last week. That more people dislike abortion is a good first step, and we owe much to ultrasound technology. It’s just harder now to deny the unborn is fully human. But disliking abortion isn’t the same as thinking it’s wrongand so wrong that it must be stopped.

The moral question of abortion boils down to one question: “what is the unborn?” If every unborn is a valuable human person, then ending the life of the unborn is always wrong. We must then find other, moral responses to unplanned pregnancies.

The basic truth about the unborn can be demonstrated and articulated. In fact, the most helpful, practical book on this yet was just published: Stand for Life by John Ensor and Scott Klusendorf. Come to thePointRadio.org to learn more. I’m John Stonestreet.
