Someone told me recently that they missed Chuck Colson's voice the most during this election season. Well, today is election day. This election season ends, and we'll likely only have a month or two before hearing about the next one. But here's what Chuck said in his last commentary on a national election, and what he would likely say to us today, too:

(Chuck Colson's voice): "Our Founders recognized that true rights come not from government, but from God Himself...Yes, the elections are upon us. Don’t be intimidated. Do not retreat to the sidelines. Go out and vote for the candidate of your choice. Vote as your conscience informs you. And yes, allow your faith to inform your conscience. But today of all days, thank God we still live in a free nation. So speak out. Exercise your right. Fulfill your duty. Go and vote."

That is sound advice. Do all the good you can. Today, that means voting. For ThePointRadio.org, I'm John Stonestreet.
